Have Fun

The 5K walk winds through downtown Rome and along the river.  There will be entertainment and games before the walk.  Free hot dogs and fixins will be served after the walk.  Dress up your pet; prizes for top three Best Dressed Pets.

Raise Awareness

NAMI offers its support, educational, and advocacy programs at no cost. Your donations fund these programs as well as NAMI Rome's Mini-Grant Program.
The walk route is similar to past walks in downtown Rome, with a slight twist.  The start line will be in the parking lot at the entrance of Heritage Park.  Walk northwest on the road  that goes past the ball parks, up to the walking path on the top of the levee, past Heritage Park, across the foot bridge that crosses the river, STOP and WAIT before entering Broad Street.  We want to walk up Broad en mass.  Turn left in the parking lot of Citizens First Bank, left on First Street, right on the sidewalk in front of the Law Enforcement Center, left on the walking path behind the court house and the Forum, right onto the foot bridge, left on top of the levee, left to go down to the path, and finally to the finish line which will be on top of the levee.
